Sleep Walk - Steffen Goldkamp
in post-production
SynopsisA door slams shut and Ricardo is left outside. He is alone. And he has nowhere to sleep. A drift through a nocturnal city – killing time and warming up in damp clothes. Cinema, McDonald's, and stretches of brutal wind through a winter-wet city. In the chiaroscuro of pore-deep close-ups and shopping mall wide shots, SLEEP WALK reveals an everyday parallel to the genre narrative, blending an overlooked reality with the visual tropes of film noir.
